Matthew Woodyatt trained at Rose Bruford. He is a Welshman with a strong, varied stage and musical theatre career.

Matt can be heard as Gandalf in the audio drama Rat Catcher for Audible, produced by Bafflegab. He reprised the role in Season 2. He also appears in Watchdogs: Truth, an interactive Audible Original.

In 2024, Matt recorded two Torchwood audio drama titles for Big Finish directed by David O’Mahoney: Torchwood: Bad Connection, and Torchwood: The Flawless Man. He also appefeatured in Big Finish’s Comedy Playhouse.

In animation, Matthew was the voice of Franck in A Magnificent Life and in audiobooks he provided narration for Children of Aberfan.
