 Hugh Ross is Garrick Ollivander in Audible’s Harry Potter Series 


We’re delighted to share that Hugh Ross voices Garrick Ollivander in Audible and Pottermore Publishing’s new full-cast productions of the original Harry Potter novels.

The series begins with Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s/Sorcerer’s Stone on 4 November 2025, with subsequent books releasing monthly through May 2026.

Hugh joins a star-studded ensemble that includes:
Hugh Laurie (Dumbledore), Matthew Macfadyen (Voldemort), Riz Ahmed (Snape), Michelle Gomez (McGonagall), Kit Harington (Gilderoy Lockhart), Keira Knightley (Dolores Umbridge), Iwan Rheon (Remus Lupin), Ruth Wilson (Bellatrix Lestrange), James McAvoy (Mad-Eye Moody), Simon Pegg (Arthur Weasley), Gemma Whelan (Professor Sprout), Matt Berry (Sir Cadogan), Mark Addy (Hagrid), Daniel Mays (Dobby), Ṣọpẹ́ Dìrísù (Sirius Black), Alex Hassell (Lucius Malfoy) and many, many more! The series narrator is Cush Jumbo.

Hugh Ross is best known for his roles as Arch Bug in Outlander and Narcisse in Nightbreed. With a career spanning decades across stage and screen, Hugh is also a distinguished voice actor and long-time contributor to BBC Radio Drama. He notably played Macbeth opposite Harriet Walter’s Lady Macbeth in the acclaimed Arkangel Shakespeare audio series, available on Audible here.
