HUGH ROSS can be heard as Amadeo Fasini in Part 1 and Herr Steinbrunner in Part 2 of D J Britton’s new dramatisation of Death at La Fenice for Big Fish Radio and BBC Radio 4.

A world famous conductor is found dead in his dressing room between acts in La Traviata. Venice is horrified. What damage will this do to the city’s reputation? And that of its great opera house, La Fenice?

The cast is led by Julian Rhind Tutt as Commissario Guido Brunetti. Produced and directed by Eoin O’Callaghan with music by Julie Cooper.

Death at La Fenice will begin on Sunday 4th August at 3pm on BBC Radio 4 and be available shortly after on BBC Sounds: Listen to Part One.

The story concludes the following week, on Sunday 11th August at 3pm on BBC Radio 4, and on BBC Sounds thereafter: Listen to Part Two.
