SHOGO MIYAKITA voices Minamoto in The Spirit of the Samurai, a brutal 2D stop-motion action adventure game from Digital Mind Games and published by Kwalee.

In The Spirit of the Samurai, players take on the role of Takeshi, a reanimated samurai tasked with defending his village from an Oni and his army of undead warriors. Set in a world steeped in Japanese mythology, players must battle monsters, tengu, and demons as they navigate atmospheric environments like ruined villages and mountain caves, wielding iconic weapons such as the katana, yari spear, and bow.

The game features a unique stop-motion style, inspired by the work of Ray Harryhausen, and offers players the chance to control three distinct characters—Takeshi, a brave Kodama spirit, and a warrior cat named Chisai—each with their own combat styles. Developed by Digital Mind Games, The Spirit of the Samurai is scheduled for release on December 12, 2024.
