Hugh Ross is the voice of Garrick Ollivander in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, the first release in Audible and Pottermore Publishing’s new Full-Cast Audio Editions of the novels.

Released on November 4th 2025, this immersive production introduces listeners to the wizarding world through hundreds of voices, cinematic sound design and an original musical score, presented in Dolby Atmos.

Hugh’s appearance comes at a pivotal early moment in Harry’s journey, as the young wizard enters Diagon Alley for the first time and encounters Ollivander – the enigmatic wandmaker whose knowledge quietly hints at much larger forces at work.

The production stars Frankie Treadaway as Harry Potter, alongside Max Lester (Ron Weasley), Arabella Stanton (Hermione Granger), Hugh Laurie (Dumbledore), Riz Ahmed (Snape), Michelle Gomez (McGonagall), Matthew Macfadyen (Voldemort), with narration by Cush Jumbo.

Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone marks the beginning of the full-cast series, with subsequent books releasing monthly through May 2026.
